About Silvia Orozco

Being a mother has equipped me with the experience to provide child care that no class or course can offer. I raised three children of my own that are my pride and joy. Motherhood taught me to have a balance between being kind but firm, being patient but resolute. I believe it's important to teach children to be respectful and independent. And I provide an atmosphere that encourages this behavior.

Philosophy

My child care philosophy is simple: Children are different and need individualized attention. But it's just as important that they have a routine. That is why children in my care have a routine that includes meals, play time, learning time, toileting, and nap time. I teach children to become independent and fend for themselves, from eating on their own to toileting themselves. It brings me joy and satisfaction when I see the little one's mature into confident little people. I hope you will come in and meet me. Give me the opportunity to show you how I can provide a warm.

Communication Between Parent & Caregiver

In order to be on the same page regarding your child's care, I ask that you please share with me any concerns, past or present, relating to your child. By having honest, open communication I can properly address the care of your child.

California State Certification

I am State Licensed by the Department of Social Services. This requires a Livescan background check, compliance with the State's regulations about health and safety, and a CPR certification. I have worked in the child care industry for over 15 years. My day care is licensed by the State of California's Department of Social Services (CDSS). My previous experience came from working in a Montessori School. I am CPR certified and compliant with the State's rules and regulations that ensure a safe environment. I also have been background checked through Live Scan.

Nutrition

All food, snacks, and drinks are provided for your child while they are in my care. I am part of a nutrition program (CACFP) that ensures your child will receive nutritious food and snacks as a regular part of their day care.

Financial Assistance

If you need financial assistance to meet the costs of childcare I work with State funded programs, like Children's Home Societies, that help low income families. I can provide you with comprehensive information, guidance, and support so that our services remain within your reach.
